NVOCC - CONTAINER GROUPAGE SERVICES
Groupage (also known as LCL and Consolidation) is the solution for small shipments, which weight and measurement are not enough to fulfil a complete container.
A good quality groupage service is granted when the consolidator at origin and all members of the respective network at each transhipment hub generate enough volume to fulfil their own weekly boxes. This consequently avoids sub-contracting of third party consolidators, giving evident advantages to the operational control of the shipments at any point during their voyage to destination.
Transcinco is proud to be part of one of the largest worldwide network of inter-related partners, specialising in weekly containers groupage services (NVOCC).
With the support of this strong network we operate weekly groupage services via Rotterdam, Barcelona or direct to/from more than 100 ocean ports in all Continent, from where shipments can be delivered to any inland terminal or door destination.
This service can be complemented by any of those provided by our Freight Forwarding division, like cargo insurance, customs services, warehousing and distribution, etc.
We are consequently fully qualified to provide from straight port-to-port to the most comprehensive door-to-door services.
